Moderators now have the ability timeout someone in a Discord server. To timeout someone simply right click on their username and choose to timeout.

When you or a mod timeout a member you will have the ability to set a duration period. The member that has receive the action will be notified and see a timer counting down their timeout period. Once the duration has ended the server member will regain all previous permissions in the server.

Members that are timed out wont be able to send text messages, join voice channels, react to messages, or join stage channels. If they are in a voice or stage channel when they receive the timeout then they will instantly be disconnected from the channel.

You can also remove a timeout by right-clicking on a member's username and selecting the remove timeout option. When removing a timeout you will be asked to confirm the change.

For a moderator to be able to timeout someone they will need the timeout member permission. This permission can be enabled through the moderator role server permissions. Once enabled all members with your moderator role have the timeout feature enabled.
