The Minecraft Survival Guide Season 2 continues!
This tutorial will show you how to summon and fight The Wither, a tough optional Minecraft boss which drops the Nether Star, required to craft a beacon. We take a look at how the Wither behaves on the surface, and why I usually do the Wither fight underground.
But before all that, we have to acquire three Wither Skeleton skulls - so we head out to a Nether Fortress in a Warped Forest, where fortress mob spawn rates are through the roof, and attempt to convert a crossroads area into a low-tech Wither Skeleton farm!
