How to Disable 3D Touch on iPhone or iPad

The 3D Touch feature on iPhones and iPads leverages pressure sensitivity make different types interactions available. The feature was first introduced on iPhone and iPad models rolled out in 2015. However, 3D Touch never really took off, and it looks like Apple is going to phase it out in future iPhone and iPad models. If you're not a fan of the 3D Touch feature right now, you can get in front of the curve and go ahead and disable it relatively quickly.
Now let's walk through the steps to disable 3D Touch on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 1. Tap to launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. The Settings screen appears.
Step 2. Scroll down the screen and then tap "General." The icon to the left of general features a gray background with a white gear on it. The General screen appears.
Step 3. Tap "Accessibility" in the list of options on the General screen. The Accessibility screen is displayed.
Step 4. Scroll down to the Interaction section, and then tap "3D Touch." The 3D Touch screen appears.
Step 5. Tap the toggle to the right of 3D Touch to turn it off to disable the 3D Touch feature on your iPhone or iPad. Alternatively, you can always come back to this screen and use the toggle to turn the 3D Touch feature back on.
