Startup Apps:
Apps can be configured to start when you log in to your computer. In most cases apps will start minimised or may only start a background task. Apps or Programs which are set to startup when you turn on your PC, will have an impact on your computers boot time. Your PC will require more time to start, so keep that in mind when you’re looking for the quickest computer boot time.
What is Start-up impact?
Start-up impact is the degree of impact from CPU and disk activity, measured during start-up and updated with each restart. Apps/Programs which are disabled upon system boot, will have no impact (positive impact). Apps/Programs which are enabled upon system boot, will have an impact however that impact is not measured by your computer in the start-up impact tab/column (negative impact).
The more startup apps which are enabled and are set to start upon system boot, the slower your computer is to boot up initially.
The more startup apps which are disabled and are set to not start upon system boot, the quicker your computer boots up.
