To unpair your Xbox controller from your Xbox Series X, follow these steps:

Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller for 6 seconds until the controller turns off.

Alternatively, you can navigate to Settings - Devices & accessories - Xbox Wireless Controller - Disconnect.

Once you’ve disconnected your controller, it will no longer be paired with your Xbox Series X. If you want to use the controller again, you’ll need to pair it again with your console.
