In this video, I will be showing you how to show the dislike counter on YouTube videos. All chromium browsers and the Mozilla Firefox browser have the ability to display YouTube dislikes by adding an extension called Return YouTube Dislikes. This extension can be added to each browser using the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Browser Add-On extensions respectively. Return YouTube Dislikes, uses a combination of archived like and dislike data, as well as likes and dislikes made by this extension users to display the most accurate likes and dislikes on a YouTube video.

Steps To Show YouTube Dislikes On Chromium And Firefox Browsers:
Chromium Browsers (such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Opera):
1. Open up your Chromium browser such as Google chrome
2. Navigate to the Chrome web store to the following URL link https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/return-youtube-dislike/gebbhagfogifgggkldgodflihgfeippi
3. Click Add to [Your Browser Name Here]. For example if using Google Chrome browser, click "Add to Chrome"
4. Click Add extension
5. Open up a new tab and navigate to a YouTube video that you're curious about to see it's dislike count. If you already had a YouTube video open in another tab after installing the Return YouTube Dislike extension, then you will need to refresh your browser page by clicking on the refresh symbol at the top left hand corner of your browser.
6. If you want to adjust the settings of the Return YouTube Dislike extension, navigate to the top right hand corner to the jigsaw icon known as "Extensions" and left click on it
7. Click on the Return YouTube Dislike extension
8. Click on the nut icon known as "Settings" to a see a small window at the top right hand corner
9. You will now see various settings for the Return YouTube Dislike extension that you can toggle on or off. These settings are as follows:
- Disable like/dislike submission
- Re-format like numbers
- Number format
- Colorize ratio bar
- Colorize thumbs
- Color theme
- Percentage in like/dislike bar tooltip.
- Percent mode
Mozilla Firefox Browser:
1. Open up your Mozilla Firefox browser
2. Navigate to the Firefox Browser Add-On extensions at the following URL link https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/return-youtube-dislikes/
3. Click Add to Firefox
4. Click Add
5. Open up a new tab and navigate to a YouTube video see it's dislike count. If you already had a YouTube video open in another tab after installing the Return YouTube Dislike extension, then might need to refresh your browser page by clicking on the refresh symbol at the top left hand corner of your browser.
6. Similar to the chromium browser process describe above, to adjust the settings of the extension, navigate to the top right hand corner to Return YouTube Dislike extension icon and left click on it
7. A small window will then open, click on the nut icon at the top right of this window to be greeted with all the Return YouTube Dislike extension settings that can be toggled on or off.
Congratulations, you have successfully returned the YouTube dislike counter to your Chromium or Mozilla Firefox browser.
