The first step of getting Botania in Minecraft 1.15.2 is actually downloading and installing Forge. Luckily, we have an in-depth tutorial that will show you every single step of getting Forge for Botania in Minecraft 1.15.2. We even go over all the issues you may have when getting Forge. After you have Forge downloaded and installed, it is time to move on to downloading the Botania mod. You can find the Botania mod linked in the description above. When you click that link, it will take you to CurseForge where you want to look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down the page until you see a ‘Minecraft 1.15’ section. Under that, you will see a version of Botania with a purple download button next to it. Click that purple download button and Botania will start downloading automatically after 6 seconds. You will need to keep/save this file on your browser.
Repeat the above download process for Botania’s compatibility mods Patchouli and the Curious API. The download process for these mods is the exact same as Botania, and they are both linked in the description above.
After downloading Botania and it’s compatibility mods downloaded, it is time to get them installed. Installing Botania in Minecraft 1.15.2 is super easy. All you have to do is hit the Windows Key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the exact same time. When you do, the ‘Run’ application will open. In the Run app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. This will open your Roaming folder where you will see a ‘.minecraft’ folder. Open that, and you should see a ‘mods’ folder. If you don’t, just create one. Open this mods folder, and drag-and-drop Botania, Patchouli, and the Curious API into it. You now know how to install Botania in Minecraft 1.15.2!
You aren’t done just yet though. You still need to open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the play button, click on ‘Forge’, and then, click ‘Play’. You are now done! Botania has been added to Minecraft 1.15.2!
