About this video: In this video, we go over every single step of download and install an Ore Finder Compass in Minecraft 1.15.2. This is done using the Advance Finders Mod. What is the Advance Finders Mod? Well, it is a Minecraft 1.15.2 Mod that allows you to create compasses that will help you find ores in Minecraft. From iron and gold to diamonds and red stone, the compasses added by the Advanced Finders Mod will let you find them all. This, without any more delay, let's jump right on into how you can download and install the Advanced Finders mod in Minecraft 1.15.2.
The first step of getting the #OreCompass #Mod is actually downloading and install Forge. This is because Forge is required in order to get Advanced Ore Generators installed. Luckily, we have an in-depth tutorial linked in the description above that will show you exactly how to get Forge downloaded and installed in Minecraft 1.15.2. Once you have Forge installed, we can move on to adding Ore Compass to Minecraft.
In order to get an Ore Compass in Minecraft, we need to download the Advanced Finders Mod. You can find the official download link for the Ore Compass mod in the description above. Once you are there, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down the page until you see the 'Minecraft 1.15' section. Under that, you'll find a version of the Advanced Finders Mod. Click the purple download button on that version. When you do, you will be taken off to a page where your download will begin in 6 seconds. You will need to keep/save the file.
You aren't down downloading just yet. You need to repeat the above process and download the Forge EnderTech mod. This is a compatibility mod for Ore Compass, and without Advanced Finders will not work!
After you have Ore Compass and Forge EnderTech downloaded, it is time to get them installed. Luckily, installing the Ore Compass mod is super easy. All you need to do is hit the Windows Key on your Keyboard and R at the same time. This will open up the Run application. In the text box in the Run app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. This will open your Roaming folder. In it, you will see a ‘.minecraft’ folder. Open that, and you'll see a 'mods' folder. If you don't have a mods folder, just create one. Now, all you need to do install the Advanced Finders mod in Minecraft 1.15.2 is drag-and-drop Advanced Finders and Forge EnderTech into this mods folder. Congrats! You know how to install Ore Compasses in Minecraft!
We are done just yet though. We still need to open the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow to the left of the Play button, click on ‘Forge’, and click Play. When you do, Minecraft 1.15.2 will open up with Advanced Finders installed!
