Note: In this video, we show you how to download and install Journey Map in Minecraft 1.15.2. What is #JourneyMap? Well, it is a minimap mod for Minecraft 1.15.2 that has some of the most advanced features out of all the Minecraft #Minimap mods. It has waypoints, a larger world map, the ability to show entities on your minimap, and overall, tons of different options that allow you to change and customize pretty much every single part of the minimap. Thus, without any more delay, here is how you can download and install Journey Map in Minecraft 1.15.2!
First and foremost, we need to download JourneyMap. You can find the offical download link for Journey Map 1.15.2 in the description above. When you click that link, it will take you to the Journey Map download page. Here, you want to look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down the page until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.15’ section. Under it, you will see a Journey Map version with a purple download button next to it. Click that, your Journey Map download will begin in 6 seconds. You will need to keep/save this file depending on your browser.
After you have Journey Map downloaded, we need to download and Forge. Luckily, we have an in-depth tutorial that shows you exactly how to download and install Forge in Minecraft 1.15.2. Once you have Forge downloaded and installed, we can move on to installing Journey Map for Minecraft 1.15.2. To do this, press the Windows Key and ‘R’ at the exact same time on your keyboard. This will open up the ‘Run’ application. In the text box in the Run app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. This will open up the ‘Roaming’ folder. In this folder, you will have a ‘.minecraft’ folder. Open that, and you will find a ‘mods’ folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, create one! After opening your mods folder, all you need to do in order to install Journey Map is drag-and-drop it into this mods folder. It really is that easy.
You aren’t done just yet though. You still need to open the Minecraft Launcher, click the little arrow to the right of the play button, select the Forge profile, and click play. Now, Minecraft 1.15.2 will open up with Journey Map downloaded and installed. Enjoy your 1.15.2 Minecraft minimap!
