About this video: In this video, we show you exactly how to download and install RFTools in Minecraft 1.15.2. What is RFTools? Well, it is a Minecraft 1.15.2 mod that adds a ton of different things to Minecraft all through its mods. There are 5 different RFTools mods. They are RFTools Base, RFTools Storage, RFTools Builder, RFTools Utility, and RFTools Power. All of these mods add different and exciting things to the game. Everything from an auto-mining quarry to power generation through wind and solar to computer hard drive storage for your items is added using RFTools. Thus, without anymore delay, let’s jump right into how you can download and install RFTools in Minecraft 1.15.2!
The first step of getting RFTools is actually downloading all of the RFTools mods and the McJtyLib, which is required to run them. The process on all the RFTools mods is the same. Click the official RFTools download links in the description above. When you do you will be taken to the RFTools download page. on each mod, look at the right-hand side, scroll down until you see ‘Minecraft 1.15’, and under that you will see a version of the RFTools mod you are downloading. Click the purple download button to the right of that version. Your download will begin in 6 seconds. You will have to keep/save the file on your browser. Now, repeat this for all other RFTools mods and the McJtyLib.
Once you have RFTools downloaded, it is time to move on to downloading and install Forge for Minecraft 1.15.2. Luckily, we have an in-depth tutorial on getting Forge linked in the description above. Go through that, and you will see exactly how to get Forge downloaded and installed for Minecraft 1.15.2.
After you get 1.15.2 Froge, we can move on to installing the RFTools mods. Doing this is pretty simple. Hit the Windows Key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the exact same time. This will open the ‘Run’ application. In the text box within this app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. You will be taken to your roaming folder. Here, you’ll find a .minecraft folder. Open that, and you will find a ‘mods’ folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, create one! Open the mods folder, and all you need to do in order to install RFTools in Minecraft 1.15.2 is drag and drop RF Tools Base, RFTools Storage, RFTools Builder, RFTools Utility, RFTools Power, and the McJtyLib into your mods folder. And just like that, you now know how to add RFTools to Minecraft 1.15.2!
We aren’t done just yet though! We still need to open the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the Play button, select Forge and then, click play. Now Minecraft 1.15.2 will open with RFTools installed!
