About this video: This video is our step-by-step guide on how to download and install shaders in Minecraft 1.15.2 on PC. We show you everything when it comes to installing shaders in Minecraft Java Edition. This tutorial will work for any shaders pack as long as it is updated to Minecraft 1.15.2, so without any more delay, here is how to download and install shaders in Minecraft 1.15.2 Java Edition!
The first step of getting shaders is downloading a Minecraft shaders pack. We have a complete list of 5 shaders packs in the description above. All of these shaders packs are add to Minecraft PC in the exact same way. Because of this, it doesn’t matter which one you download. We use Continuum Shaders in this video, but it works with all shaders packs as long as they are updated.
Once you have your shaders pack downloaded, we need to download Optifine. We have a complete tutorial on download and install Optifine for Minecraft shaders in the description above. Once you are there, go through that tutorial. We cover this in this video as well, so no matter what, you will be able to get shaders for Optifine installed. You must install Optifine in order to add shaders to Minecraft.
After you have Optifine installed, we can finally learn how to install shaders 1.15.2 in Minecraft. This is actually really easy. You need to open up Minecraft with Optifine. To do this, open the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow to the left of the play button, click on ‘Optifine’, and click the green 'Play' button. If you don't have Optifine, you need to install it using the tutorial in the description above. Optifine is required for shaders 1.15.2.
After Minecraft is open, click on ‘Options’, ‘Video Settings’, and then select ‘Shaders’. Now, click on ‘Open Shaders Pack Folder’ in the bottom right. This will open a folder. Now, all you need to in order to install shaders in Minecraft 1.15.2 on PC is drag-and-drop the shaders pack you downloaded in this folder. When you do, go pack to Minecraft, and you’ll see it in the menu. Click on it, and your shaders pack will activate.
