About this video: This video is our step-by-step guide on how you can download and install Feed The Beast Continuum in Minecraft. This Minecraft modpack is an expert style modpack packed with some of the latest tech mods by Feed the Beast! The majority of the recipes and intended progression that you are used to has been changed. #FTBContinuum introduces new, never before used mods to make things even more difficult and challenging. The overall goal of this pack is to extend gameplay by making large changes to progression throughout the mods.
This pack contains a lot of custom quests as well to help you progress and provide tips/tricks and even rewards as you play through Feed The Beast Continuum. Note that the quests are completely optional to play through the pack, but highly suggested due to the large number of gameplay changes. The survival difficulty has not been changed other than the introduction of Spice of Life. However, this is set up in a way where it’s not a burden to the player. With this, it really is one of the techiest FTB modpacks of all time. So, here is how to download and install it!
First and foremost, you will need to download the Feed The Beast launcher. You can find the FTB Launcher linked in the description above. Once you are there, click on the 'Download' button under Windows. This will download the FTB Launcher. Once it has downloaded, you will find it either on your desktop or in your downloads folder. After you find it, just double click on it. This will start the process of installing the FTB Launcher.
When the FTB Launcher opens, click 'Apply', and it will start setting itself up. When it is finished, the Feed The Beast launcher will open. Now, it is time to download and install the Continuum #Modpack. Doing this is super easy. Click the 'FTB Modpacks' tab at the top of the launcher, and scroll down until you see 'Feed The Beast Continuum'. Click on it. We now need to sign-in to your Minecraft account. Do this by clicking on the 'Select Profile' drop-down menu in the bottom left of the launcher and clicking 'add profile'.
A pop-up will appear where you want to enter in your Minecraft username and password. Once you do this, you can login, select the profile from the drop-down menu, and click 'Launch'. At this point, the FTB Continuum modpack will begin installing! It really is that easy. It will take a few minutes to open up, but when it does, you will land on the Minecraft main menu.
