Today I'll show you how to download and install the new Spotify 1.0.1 beta on Linux Ubuntu, Debian, Mint, Mint Debian Edition, ElementaryOS, Netrunner and all other Linux distribution based on .deb package.

As you probably know, Spotify for Linux is available in Preview mode and far from stable version 0.9.15 for quite a while has not been updated. This situation changed only recently released Spotify 0.9.17 stable - I show last time how to install it:

At that time, a version for Windows and Mac OS X has been available in version 1.0.x. 3. Install it what you realy want by console or Synaptic or Ubuntu Software Center - as I did on the video.

4. The beta version does not create shortcut to the program in the menu, so you have to manually go to the directory /usr/share/ spotify/ and run spotify.

5. Optionally, you can now create a shortcut to the program.

Remember, that it is still early beta version and contains errors.

Dzisiaj pokażę wam jak pobrać i zainstalować nowe Spotify 1.0.1 beta na Linuksie Ubuntu, Debian, Mint, Mint Debian Edition, ElementaryOS, Netrunner i wszystkie inne oparte na pakietach .deb dystrybucje Linux.

Jak pewnie wiecie, Spotify dla Linuksa jest dostępne w wersji Preview i do tej pory od stabilnej wersji 0.9.15 dosyć długo nie był aktualizowany. Ten stan zmieniło dopiero wydane niedawno stabilne Spotify 0.9.17 - które pokazywałem już jak zainstalować:

W tym czasie wersja dla Windows i Mac OSX była już dostępna w wersji 1.0.X. Mimo wszystko niebawem i użytkownicy Linuksa mają otrzymać stabilną wersję z serii 1.0.X, a rozwój wersji Spotify dla Linuksa ma ma nowo nabrać tempa i dotrzymywać kroku wydaniom dla Windows. Ale do czasu, aż to sie stanie, twórcy muszą wyjść z fazy beta.

Beta, którą ja właśnie pokażę jak pobrać i zainstalować na Linuksie.

Jak pobrać i zainstalować Spotify 1.0.1 beta na Linuksie:

1. Jeżeli masz wcześniejszą wersję Spotify np. 0.9.17 musisz ją odinstalować!

2. Pobierz bete Spotify 1.0.1 dla Linuksa:
http://download.spotify.com/beta/spotify-client_1.0.1.1062_amd64.deb

3. Zainstaluj w dowolny sposób, czy to przez konsolę, czy Synaptic lub Centrum Oprogramowania Ubuntu - tak jak zrobiłem to ja na wideo.

4. Wersja beta nie tworzy skrótu do programu w menu, wiec musisz ręcznie przejść do katalogu /usr/share/spotify/spotify.

5. Opcjonalnie możesz teraz utworzyć skrót do programu.


Pamiętaj jednak, że jest to wciąż wczesna wersja beta i zawiera błędy.
