Well, Quark is a fully modular utility mod for Minecraft 1.18.1 that adds in all kinds of incredible features. For example, there automation features, building features, custom mods, custom tools, tweaks, and even custom tress, vegetation, and more. And what is great is that all of these features can easily be turned on and off in-game, so here is how to get Quark 1.18.1 in Minecraft!
Before we can install the Quark mod, we need to download and install Forge 1.18.1. You can find a complete guide on how to get Forge 1.18.1 in the description above. That is an in-depth guide that goes over every single step of getting the Forge Mod Loader for Quark 1.18.1. We even cover some of the issues you may have and how to fix them.
With Forge installed, we can download Quark. You can find a link to Quark in the description above. When you click that it will take you to the official Quark 1.18.1 download page on CurseForge. On this page, look at the right-hand side and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.18’ section. Under this section, you will see the 1.18.1 version of Quark. Click the orange download button to the right of this version, and Quark will begin downloading after a few seconds. You may need to keep or save your file depending on your browser.
With Quark downloaded, we can move on to install it. To do this, press the Windows Key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the exact same time. This will open the Run app. In the text box in this app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. Your Roaming folder will open. There will a .minecraft folder. Open that, and you will see a mods folder. If you don’t, just create one. Finally, drag-and-drop Quark into your mods folder. You have now installed the Quark Mod in Minecraft 1.18.1.
You aren’t complete finished though. You still need to open up the Minecraft Launcher, click the little arrow next to the Play button, select Forge, and click Play. You will need to confirm you are playing modded Minecraft by clicking Play again, and Minecraft 1.18.1 will open up with Quark installed. You can click the little button next to the ‘mods’ button to turn Quarks features on and off. This is one of the coolest things about the Quark mod.
