This video will show you how to get started in Minecraft survival sucessfully. You see. Minecraft can be hard to get a grasp of when you first start out, so I’m here to show you how to start Minecraft survival.
Now this is the very first thing you will need to do in Minecraft. You need to chop down some trees and get some wood. I’d recommend at least 16 logs to get started.
With your logs gathered, we can make a crafting table. Break down your logs in your inventory and use the planks to make a crafting table. Then, make a wooden pickaxe and sword. You don’t need other tools. We won’t be keeping these long. Pick up your crafting table and start exploring.
Before we get better tools though, we need some food. To get started, the best way to get food is murdering, cows, chickens, sheep, and pigs. If you can find three sheep right at the start, do it. It will make the first night a lot easier as you can make a bed. Once you have killed 4-6 animals, let’s find some stone.
We are looking for stone in a cave system that you access from above ground. Mine 20 cobble stone with your wooden pickaxe and throw that and your wooden sword away. We don’t need then. Then, place your crafting table down and make a stone pickaxe, sword, shovel, axe, and hoe.
Okay, so you have stone tools. Now we need to survive your first night. Thus, it’s time to go mining. I recommend exploring caves at first and gathering all the coal and iron you can find. Use the coal and sticks to make torches.
With the first night complete, we can travel to the surface. Make sure you take your furnace and crafting table with you. It is time to build a house.
There are tons of house guides on YouTube. I recommend something simple like a 7x7 house with a door and some windows. You can also make it nicer overtime. This is also now the time to make a bed if you don’t have one, and you may want to top off with some more food as well.
I recommend getting a chest too as your inventory is probably getting very full.
With your house finished, it’s time to get more sustainable food. I recommend using wheat as you can craft bread with it. The most efficient wheat farm is 9x9 with a water block in the middle.
So ore distribution changes for like the first time ever in Minecraft last year, and that means diamonds are a bit harder to find. You can find them anywhere under Y level 16. However, the best place to find diamonds in Y -59. I would recommend exploring all caves under Y 16 though as you never know what you will find.
