About this video: Why would you want to install the Minecraft health bar mod? Well, it allows you to see the health of mobs as you kill them allowing you to know exactly what their health is and how much longer it is going to take to kill them. This is done using the Neat Mod which is a full service health bar mod for Minecraft 1.18.1.
How do you download the Neat Mod in Minecraft 1.18.1? Well, the first step is downloading and install the Forge mod loader for 1.18.1. The good news is that we have a complete guide on how to get Forge 1.18.1 in the description. We also go over how to fix any Forge issues you may have when installing Forge for the health bar mod, so no matter what, you will be able to get Forge installed!
After you have Forge, we can move on to downloading the Neat Mod for Minecraft 1.18.1. You can find the official download page for the Minecraft health bar mod in the description above. Once you click that link, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see the Minecraft 1.18 section. Under that, you will see the Minecraft 1.18.1 Neat Mod. Click the orange download button next to this version, and Neat 1.18.1 will start downloading! You may need to keep or save this video depending on your browser.
Once you have the health bar mod downloaded, it is time to get it installed! To do this, open up the Minecraft Launcher, click the little arrow next to the Play button, select the ‘Forge’ installation, and click Play. Confirm you are playing modded Minecraft by clicking Play again. Minecraft with Forge will then open up.
From the Minecraft main menu, click on ‘mods’, and the click the ‘Open Mods Folder’ button in the bottom left of Minecraft. Finally, drag-and=drop the Neat Health Bar Mod into this mods folder. When you do, you have installed the Neat mod in Minecraft 1.18.1! However, it won’t show up in game until you close Minecraft and reopen it with the Forge installation. When you open Minecraft back up, you will be able to see the health of the mobs in Minecraft!
