How to Enable TPM 2.0 in Bios on Windows 10 PC (Working Method)
To enable TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module) in the BIOS on a Windows 10 PC, follow these steps:
Access the BIOS/UEFI Settings:
Completely shut down your PC.
Power it on and press the key to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup (commonly F2, F10, Del, or Esc—check your PC’s manual or boot screen for the specific key).
Press the key repeatedly during startup to ensure you enter the setup.
Navigate to the Security or Advanced Tab:
Use the arrow keys to move through the BIOS/UEFI menu.
Look for a tab labeled Security, Advanced, Trusted Computing, or Peripherals (the exact name depends on your motherboard manufacturer).
Locate the TPM Option:
Find an option related to TPM, such as Trusted Platform Module, TPM Device, TPM Support, or Security Device Support.
For Intel systems, it might be labeled PTT (Platform Trust Technology).
For AMD systems, it may be called fTPM (firmware TPM).
If TPM is disabled, it will typically show as Disabled or Off.
Enable TPM 2.0:
Select the TPM option and set it to Enabled using the provided keys (often Enter, +/-, or as indicated on-screen).
If there’s a version selection, ensure TPM 2.0 is chosen (some systems support both TPM 1.2 and 2.0).
On Intel systems, enable PTT if no explicit TPM option is present.
On AMD systems, enable AMD fTPM or AMD CPU fTPM.
Save and Exit:
Press the key to save changes and exit (usually F10).
Confirm by selecting Yes to save the configuration.
The PC will restart.
