1Steps to Transfer Data & Contacts in Under 2 Minutes
Install Phone Clone (10 seconds):
On both phones, ensure Phone Clone is installed. For Samsung, download from Google Play Store (search “Phone Clone Huawei”). If pre-installed (e.g., Huawei), skip this step.
Launch Phone Clone (10 seconds):
New Phone: Open Phone Clone (or Settings - System & Updates - Device Clone on Huawei). Select This is the new device, then choose Android (or iPhone for iOS old phone).
Old Phone: Open Phone Clone, select This is the old device.
Connect Phones (20 seconds):
New Phone: A QR code or Wi-Fi hotspot details will appear.
Old Phone: Scan the QR code on the new phone to connect. If QR fails, select Connect manually and join the hotspot (password shown on new phone).
Grant permissions (e.g., contacts, storage) when prompted.
Select Data (20 seconds):
On the old phone, select Contacts and other lightweight data (e.g., messages, call logs). Deselect large files (e.g., videos, apps) to keep transfer under 2 minutes.
Tap Transfer or Send.
Transfer Data (30-50 seconds):
The transfer starts, showing a progress bar. Contacts (e.g., 100-500 entries) typically take 10-30 seconds; small photos/messages add minimal time.
Keep phones close and avoid interruptions.
Verify (10 seconds):
Once complete, the new phone shows Transfer Complete. Open the Contacts app (or Gallery for photos) to confirm data transferred correctly.
Sign into apps like Gmail for email sync if needed.
