(e.g., Samsung, Google Pixel, Xiaomi) running Android 10 or later. Menu names and options may vary slightly by manufacturer or app. If the photos were recently deleted, recovery options are also provided.

Method 1: Check Common Locations in Gallery/Google Photos
Open the Gallery or Photos App:

Launch the default Gallery app (e.g., Samsung Gallery) or Google Photos (preinstalled on many Android devices).
Check Albums:

Tap Albums (or similar tab, usually at the bottom).
Look for folders like:

Camera: Default location for photos taken with the phone.
Screenshots, Downloads, or WhatsApp Images: For photos saved from apps or the internet.

Favorites, Hidden, or custom albums you created.
Scroll through all albums, as photos may have been moved or miscategorized.
Search for Photos:

Use the search icon (magnifying glass) in the Gallery or Google Photos app.
