This error is occurred in android,tablets,bluestacks the android versions are kitkat,lollipop,marsh mallow.




Some error occurring devices are micromax,sony,samsung,lenovo,htc,panasonic,one plus one,vivo,gionee,redmi,honour,moto e,moto g,moto x,moto z,moto e3,samsung j7,samsung s4,samsung galaxy s4,redmi 2 prime,mi4i,oppo,mi max,redmi note 3,redmi 1s,lenovo a6000,lenovo a6000 plus,oppo f1,redmi note 4g.





Solution:

1.Goto your android settings-sim management.

2.Activate your all sim cards if you are using 2 sim.

3.Then goto settings-permission control-apps.

4.Locate "whatsapp" then activate "read contacts" option.

5.Finally once again try to refresh the contacts in whatsapp the problem is solved.
