To format a USB flash drive for games or media on your Xbox Series X|S, you need to follow these steps:

First, plug the USB flash drive into your Windows 10/11 PC.
Open File Explorer and right-click on your USB flash drive.
From the pop-up menu, select Format.
In the File system dropdown menu, select NTFS.
Select Start to begin formatting.
Once the formatting is complete, you can use the USB flash drive to store games or media on your Xbox Series X|S

Go to Settings, then go to system, storage devices and select your USB drive and format it.
