This video will show you how to fix your own YouTube videos refusing to load and play (only showing a black or white screen). If you are logged into your own personal YouTube account and you try to either view one of your own videos or try to annotate one of your own videos, and instead of the video playing you only receive a black video window screen or a white video window screen with the animated spinning bubble dot circle loading icon, then this method will most likely work for you. Those who face this issue will often find that nothing will work to play their video (despite the original version playing fine outside of YouTube): fast forwarding (skipping ahead with the position slider), pausing and clicking play again, nothing will get the video to load and play. The easy and simple fix is to go into the Enhancements option of said video on Youtube, click on the Trim button, and using the trimmer slider to the right, use the Nudge Left option on the trimmer slider to trim but a fraction of a second off of the end of the video (shaving off but a millisecond or two off of the total time counter) followed by clicking Done and Save. From here, you will have to leave your video alone and not mess with it further until Edit In Progress no longer appears on the preview thumbnail for this video in Video Manager (refreshing the Video Manager page from time to time will be necessary). After the edits have completed, your video should be playable and annotatable in YouTube.
