This video will show you how to restore a Steam game backup that spans multiple discs or disk directory file folders. This is especially useful for those who have Steam backups burnt to multiple writable recordable CD-R or DVD-R / DVD+R discs, and upon trying to Backup and Restore Games - Restore a Previous Backup, but a portion or percentage of the game is restored, followed by Steam attempting to download the remaining installation files from the internet; essentially Steam does not prompt the user for the next disc or disk directory file folder in the set. Essentially, creating a temporary directory file folder on the hard disk drive (HDD), copying over all of the depotcache files located within the disk directory file folders into this temporary directory file folder on the hard drive and restoring the game backup from this temporary directory file folder should fix and solve the issue.
