How to Forget & Reset Wifi Network Settings on PS5 Console (Quick Tutorial)
0To forget and reset your Wi-Fi network settings on your PS5 console, you can follow these steps:
Turn on your PS5 and sign in to your account to get to the main menu.
Open the system settings by selecting the gear icon on the top right of the screen.
Select Network from the list.
Highlight Settings and select Set Up Internet Connection.
Once the system completes its scan, press the options button.
In the popup menu, navigate to the network you want to forget and press the options button again.
Select Forget This Network.
To reset all network settings on your PS5 console, you can follow these steps:
Turn off your PS5 console.
Press and hold the power button until you hear two beeps: one when you first press it, and another about seven seconds later.
Connect your controller to the console with a USB cable and press the PS button on the controller.
Select Reset Console and then select Reset Network Settings.
Please note that resetting your network settings will remove all saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords from your PS5 console. If you are unsure whether resetting your network settings is necessary, please contact your internet service provider for assistance.
