To use an authenticator app with 2-step verification on your PS5 console, follow these steps:

Turn on your PS5 and log in to the account associated with your PSN account.
Navigate to Settings - Users and Accounts - Account - Security - 2-Step Verification.

Select Authenticator App.
Download an authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
Open the authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed on your PS5 console screen.
Enter the verification code generated by the authenticator app into the PS5 console.

Select Confirm to complete the setup process
