How to Get Epona Back & Learn Epona's Song - The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Walkthrough
201To get Epona back you need to go to Romani Ranch during the daytime on the First Day. In order to do this you need to have the Powder Keg. If you don’t have it yet then see the video linked below for more info.
Once you’re in Romani Ranch on the First Day, run toward the buildings and, if this is your first time here, a cutscene will occur where Tatl spots Epona and Link runs towards her.
Once the cutscene is over, go toward the little girl and talk to her. Romani will introduce herself and say that she's preparing for when the aliens come to try and abduct their cows. Agree to help her when asked and she'll have you practice shooting 10 balloons. You only have to shoot all 10 balloons within 2 minutes; you don't have to beat Romani’s record. Once you successfully complete her game she'll teach you Epona's Song, which you can then use to call Epona any time you want.
