How to Hold to Aim Down Sights on PUBG Controller (PS5 & Xbox Remap Buttons)
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), aiming down sights (ADS) can be configured based on your preference. Here are the steps to set up hold to aim down sights:
Default Settings:
By default, you need to tap the left trigger to see your weapon sights in third-person view.
For first-person scoped aiming, you tap the left trigger as well.
Hold to Aim Down Sights (ADS):
If you prefer to hold down a button for continuous aiming, follow these steps:
Go to the game’s settings menu.
Navigate to the Controls section.
Look for the Key Input Method heading.
Change the ADS option from toggle to hold.
Save your changes.
Button Remapping:
You can also remap buttons to suit your playstyle:
Set ADS (right mouse button) to hold.
Assign any other key or mouse button to AIM (toggle).
This way, you’ll hold down the right mouse button for ADS and tap the assigned button for aiming.
