How to Increase your Microphone Volume on PS4 Console
0To increase your microphone volume on your PS4 console, you can adjust the settings through the system menu. Here’s how to do it:
Adjust Microphone Level
Connect Your Microphone:
Plug your headset or microphone into the PS4 controller’s 3.5mm jack or connect it via USB if it’s a compatible device.
Go to Settings:
From the PS4 home screen, select Settings (the toolbox icon in the top right).
Access Audio Devices:
Scroll down and choose Devices, then select Audio Devices.
Adjust Microphone Level:
Select Microphone Level.
A slider will appear. Speak into your microphone, and you’ll see the input level reflected on the screen. Move the slider to the right to increase the volume, aiming for a level where your voice is clear without clipping (distortion). Ideally, keep it in the green zone, avoiding the red.
Press OK to save the adjustment.
