How to Place PS4 Controller into Bluetooth Pairing Mode (100% Works!)
Steps to Place PS4 Controller into Bluetooth Pairing Mode
Turn Off Controller:
If the controller is on (light bar glowing), press and hold the PS button (center, PlayStation logo) for 10–15 seconds until the light bar turns off.
Disconnect any USB cable from the controller.
Enter Pairing Mode:
Locate the PS button (center) and the Share button (small button with three lines, left of the touchpad).
Press and hold both buttons simultaneously for 3–5 seconds.
The light bar will start flashing white rapidly (or blue on some models), indicating the controller is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
Connect to Your Device:
iPhone (iOS 13+): Go to Settings - Bluetooth, find “DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller” under “Other Devices,” and tap to connect. The light bar turns solid (often red) when paired.
Android (Android 10+): Go to Settings - Bluetooth (or Connected Devices - Pair new device), find “Wireless Controller” or “DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller,” and tap to connect. The light bar turns solid (often blue).
Verify:
Test in a compatible game (e.g., Call of Duty: Mobile, Apple Arcade, or PUBG Mobile). Check game settings for controller support.
