You can follow the steps below to install and run Kali Linux on your desktop or #Laptop computer.
Step 1: Visit the official website from the link below to download the Kali Linux ISO file.

Step 2: Click the Download button on the Kali website homepage.
Step 3: After clicking the Bare Metal option from the download options, click the download icon in the Kali Linux 2022.3 title and download the image file to your #Computer.
Step 4: Download the Rufus program from the link below to your computer, and then insert a USB flash drive into your PC.
Step 5: Run Rufus and add the Kali image file you downloaded to your computer via the SELECT button.
Step 6: Click the START button and burn the ISO image to USB.
Step 7: After preparing a bootable Kali USB stick, plug it into your computer and restart your system. While restarting your PC, open the Boot Menu and boot your computer from your USB memory.
Step 8: When the Kali Boot Menu opens, press Enter in the Graphical Install option.
Step 9: Select your system language on the Select a Language screen.
Step 10: On the Select Your Location screen, select the country you live in.
Step 11: On the Configure the Keyboard screen, select your computer's keyboard layout.
Step 12: In the Configure the Network screen, type a hostname for your system and proceed without typing a domain name.
Step 13: On the Set Up Users and Passwords screen, type your full username, and in the next step type your username in lowercase letters.
Step 14: Create a strong password for your user account.
Step 15: On the Configure the Clock screen, select the time zone of the country you live in.
Step 16: On the Partition Disks screen, select Guided - Use Entire Disk to install a Kali from scratch, and then select the disk to be partitioned.
Step 17: Select the next disk configuration as All Files In One Partition and press Enter to finish partitioning and write changes to the disk.
Step 18: Select Yes to write the changes to the disk.
Step 19: Select your preferred Kali desktop environment on the Software Selection screen during the installation phase.
Step 20: Finally, confirm installing GRUB Boot Loader on the primary drive and reboot your system.
Step 21: Type your user account name and password and log in to your #KaliLinux system.
