About this video: This video is our in-depth guide on how to download and install mods for Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.19. That includes downloading both the behavior pack for a mod as well as the resource pack for a mod. You need both as most Minecraft Bedrock mods require both in order to work correctly.
The first step of getting mods for Minecraft Bedrock Edition is downloading them. Every mod is downloaded a bit differently, but most do use a download service called Linkvertise, and many are hosted in MCPEDL.com. For those hosted on that site, you will need to scroll down past all of the content about the mod to a little section called ‘Download’. Here, there is usually two links. One for the behavior pack and one for the resource pack. Sometimes, however, it will only be one download link.
At this point, click both download links one at a time. You will be taken to Linkvertise. On this site, click the Free Access with Ads button. Then, click ‘Discover Interesting Articles’, click the ‘X’ and wait 5 seconds. Click the ‘X’ again, and the menu will close. Next, click the ‘Discover Related Topics’ button. Click on one of the topics, close the page that opens, and click the ‘X’. Finally, click the ‘Continue To Download’ button. This will take you to the official download page for the mod. If this is MediaFire, click the blue download button for the download to begin.
Repeat the above download process for the other download link. Once finished, you will most likely have a Resource/Texture pack and a Behavior Pack.
To install mods in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, just double-click on the Behavior Pack. Minecraft will open and install it automatically. You will need to repeat the process for the Resource Pack as well.
Once the mod is installed, edit your world. You will then need to activate all of the experiments under the general settings tab for your world. After that, click on the resource packs on the left-hand side and activate the pack you installed. Do the same in the behavior packs section. Finally, play your world, and the mods will be installed and working!
