About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to make a Minecraft Pocket Edition server for 1.19. This will allow you to play MCPE 1.19 with your friends on a server that you have complete control over. Truthfully, starting your one Minecraft Pocket Edition server in 1.19 is a great way to get full customization out of your Minecraft server without using realms.
First off, it is worth mentioning that you need a Windows computer in order to host this server. You cannot host a Minecraft Pocket Edition server from your phone. If you don’t have a Windows PC, this tutorial will not work, unfortunately.
On your computer, though, go to the Bedrock Dedicated Server download link in the description above. Once you are there, click the checkbox to agree to the Minecraft EULA. Then, click the green Download button under the Windows version of the Bedrock Dedicated server.
Once you have the Bedrock Dedicated server files downloaded, right-click on them, select Extract All, and then click extract on the next menu. Your Bedrock Dedicated server files will then be added to a new folder.
In this folder, you find a bedrock_server.exe program. Double click this, and your 1.19 Minecraft Pocket Edition server will start. At this point, your MCPE 1.19 server has started. However, you can’t really join your server at this point.
In order to join your newly created Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.19 server, you will need to port forward. Specifically, you will need to forward ports 19132 and 19133. We go over exactly how to do this for your MCPE server in the video.
Once you have your Minecraft Pocket Edition server running and your ports forwarded, you can join the server with Minecraft Pocket Edition using your public IP. You can find your public IP address in the description above. Copy and paste this into MCPE and use 19132 as your port. You will then join your Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.19 server!
