I generally prefer to either install software using pacman or from the AUR but there's a few examples that don't play nicely on all systems such as Discord and Slack and this is where having a snap comes in handy, whether this comes down to a library error or something else entirely the snap packs seem to just work even though they come with a few drawbacks.

Whilst I talk about Arch Linux in this video, this software is also available on other distributions.
