Serious WiFi Buffer Overflow Vulnerability Discovered On Linux (October 2019)
Recently a potentially serious WiFi vulnerability was discovered on Linux systems which use Realtek WiFi chips and the worst part is that it requires no interaction from the owner of the system. As long as the drivers are installed and the WiFi card is enabled this exploit can be used.
