Step 1: First of all, refer to the video tutorial below to install the Mint operating system on your Linux computer.

Step 2: Run the virtual machine and after opening the terminal, check the Internet connection with the ping -c 3 www.google.com command.
Step 3: Update the software packages of your system, and then run the command mentioned in our article on the terminal to download and install #VMwareTools.
Step 4: After installing, click View / Fit Guest Now to check if Open VM Tools is running.
