How to Keep Phone Screen on When Charging & Never Turn OFF (Android Tutorial)
On your Android phone, there's a simple, built-in feature that prevents the screen from turning off while it's charging. This is especially useful if you're using your phone as a digital photo frame, a dashboard, or a desk clock.
The best and most reliable way to do this is by using a setting in the Developer options menu.
1. Enable Developer Options
Open your phone's Settings app.
Scroll down and tap on About phone (on some devices, this might be under a "System" or "General" menu).
Find the Build number. On some phones, you may need to tap on "Software information" first to see it.
Tap on the Build number seven times in quick succession.
You will see a message confirming that "You are now a developer!" You might be prompted to enter your PIN or password.
2. Enable "Stay awake"
Go back to the main Settings menu.
A new option called Developer options will now be visible, usually near the bottom of the list, above "About phone."
Tap on Developer options.
In the Developer options menu, look for a setting called "Stay awake" (or "Screen will never sleep while charging").
Toggle the switch next to it to turn it on.
