How to TURN OFF the Front Standby Light on TCL TV (Google TV)
Disabling the standby light on your TCL Google TV is a common request, especially for TVs located in bedrooms where the light can be a distraction. The good news is that the setting to control this light is usually easy to find within the TV's menu.
Here is the best method to turn off the front standby light on a TCL Google TV:
Press the "Home" or "Settings" button on your TCL remote. The "Settings" button often looks like a gear icon.
Navigate to the Settings menu on the TV screen.
Scroll down and select System.
Within the System menu, look for and select Advanced Settings (or a similar option like "Power" or "Device Preferences").
In the Advanced Settings, you should find a setting called "LED Indicator" or "Standby LED."
Select this option and choose "Off." You may also have options to set it to "On" or "Flashing" when the TV is in standby mode.
Press "OK" on your remote to confirm the change.
Once you have turned the TV off, the light on the front of the TV should no longer be on.
