About this video: This video is a step-by-step guide on how to make a StoneBlock 2 server. Starting a StoneBlock 2 server will allow you to play StoneBlock 2 with your friends. It will even allow them to have separate StoneBlock areas from your friends. This means that you can play with your friends without having them annoying you in your StoneBlock. Nevertheless, let's go ahead and get FTB Presents StoneBlock 2 up and running on our server!
First and foremost, we need to download the FTB presents StoneBlock 2 server files. You can find the StoneBlock 2 server files download link above, and when you are there, just make sure you are downloading the most recent release version. You will also need to download the Twitch App in order to install #StoneBlock2. You can find the StoneBlock 2 launcher download link above as well.
Once you have both the server files and Twitch app downloaded. First off, let's start with the Twitch app. This installs just like any other program. Once you are on the Twitch app homepage, click the 'mods' tab in the top, click on 'Minecraft', and then click 'install' in the bottom of the app. Now, click on 'FTB Modpacks', and search 'StoneBlock 2'. Then, click the purple 'Install' button on StoneBlock 2, and it will begin installing. After it has installed, press play!
Now, let's look at starting a server. Unzip the server files zip folder you downloaded. A folder will pop up where you want to click on 'FTBInstall.bat'. This will run and then close. If it doesn't, you need to download Java and run the Jarfix using the tutorials above. After that, you need can run the 'ServerStart.bat' file. This is what you will you to run your server. On the first start-up though, it will fail.
You need to agree to the EULA in the 'EULA.txt' file. Open this file, read through the #Minecraft EULA, and if you agree to it, change EULA=false to EULA=true. Now, click on the 'ServerStart.bat' file again. Your StoneBlock 2 server will now start up. Once it does, type 'stop' in the CMD and hit enter. Now, find your server.properties file and change 'level-type=default' to 'level-type=voidworld'. If you cannot get the cave in StoneBlock, this is what you need to do.
Now, just port forward port '25565' using the tutorial above, and then, connect to the server using your public IP with StoneBlock 2. Your friends will also use your public IP to join. Congrats! You no know how to get a StoneBlock 2 server.
