About this video: In this video, I show you exactly how to setup ClearLagg on your Minecraft server. This is a step-by-step guide on setting up ClearLagg where we go over everything from what to change in the ClearLagg config to how to use ClearLagg’s commands in-game in order to stop lag on your Minecraft server. ClearLagg helps improve Minecraft server performance by removing ground items, killing useless mobs, and unloading unneeded chunks.
First things first though, we need to download #ClearLagg using the link in the description above. That is the official ClearLagg download link. After that, you can simply drop it into your plugin's folder, and you will be good to go. After you restart your server, you'll have a folder generate with the config file for ClearLagg.
In this config there is a ton of useful stuff that can help reduce lag on your #MinecraftServer. ClearLagg lets you do everything from setting global mob limits for your server to remove mobs every few minutes on your server to even changing how often dispensers and hoppers fire in #Minecraft. ClearLagg really does have tons of options with a ton of stuff to do. It can even help stop lag produced from fire spreading, TNT, and mob spawners!
After you get the config for ClearLagg setup, you need to jump in game and master all of the commands ClearLagg adds to Minecraft. This is pretty simple as if you run the ‘/lagg’ command it will tell you all of the commands that ClearLagg has and what they do. I go a step further though showing you how to use them in game. Specifically, I go over the /lagg killmobs, /lagg clear, /lagg gc, /lagg check, /lagg unloadchunks, and /lagg halt commands. These commands are the ones you will use most, and I cover them all in-depth so you know exactly what they do.
And there you have it! That is our complete guide on how to set up and use ClearLagg on your Minecraft server. If you have any questions please let us know in the comment section below, and be sure to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already.
