How to Make Private Game Activity on Profile or Friends list on STEAM Settings (Best Method)
2Keeping your gaming activity private on Steam is a common request, and there are a few excellent methods to achieve this. The "best method" depends on whether you want to hide all activity or just for specific games.
Method 1: Mark a Specific Game as Private (Best for Specific Games)
This is the most precise and modern method, as it allows you to hide all traces of your activity for a single game without affecting the rest of your profile. This will hide your ownership, playtime, achievements, and "in-game" status for that particular game.
Open your Steam Library.
Right-click on the game you want to hide.
Go to Manage Mark as Private.
Once you do this, the game will no longer appear on your public profile, your "recently played" list, or in your friends' activity feeds. Your status will not change to "In-Game" while you are playing that title.
