This would make a great first project to set up in Portal as it will quickly introduce you to the server setup and some of the options without getting too deep into the complicated stuff and learning to use the rules editor. I've seen a lot of requests in the last day since the release of update 1.1 for a guide on how to set up the new vehicle modes. So here is a quick set up guide for anyone who would like to set up one of these servers if they aren't available as an official experience or if you just want something a little more, well, custom. I cover how to quickly start a mode through the game itself in Portal - NO EDITOR NEEDED! Then I run through progressively more complicated set up, but still sticking to just the main builder options.
