This video will show you which are the optimal system settings to set as well as some useful tricks in order to optimise performance, battery life, system resource usage, memory usage, data traffic transfer costs (upload and download) and CPU clock cycles on an Android 2 or Android 4 device, that is to say, a device that uses Android 2.2 FroYo, Android 2.3 GingerBread or Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The tips and tricks in this video will help you speed up your Android device if it is running slowly, as well as show you how to keep your device running fast and efficiently. Note that the Android 4.0 ICS operating system shown in this video is the variant issued by HTC, and therefore, not all options or settings may be available on your Android OS, and furthermore you may have certain settings on your device that help save on performance, battery life, system resource usage, memory usage, data traffic transfer costs (upload and download) and CPU processing that I do not have.
This video will also show you how to use the 'Apps - All' option of Settings in order to shut down active running applications, as well as showing you how to shut down applications that stay running in the background as well as how to force stop and disable applications that start up on their own with the boot of the device.
