In this video, learn how to password protect a folder in windows 10. if you want to keep some computer folders, files safe then my tutorial will help hide and password protect your data. I will be using the PasswordFolder.bat file to create a Locker folder and password for mine and then hide that folder without any additional programs.
1. Download the password-protect-folder-windows-10.txt file
2. Copy .txt file to the folder where the files you want to protect.
3. Double-click the text file to open it. Then search for where it says "My-Password-Here" in the document.
4. Replace "My-Password-Here" with the password you want to lock the folder with.
5. Save as PasswordFolder.bat file.
6. Now, double-click PasswordFolder.bat file. The Locker folder has been generated!
7. Move the Locker folder with the files, folders ... you want to protect.
8. Open the PasswordFolder.bat file, because it's time to lock that folder up!
9. Type Y and press Enter. The Locker folder will disappear.

To unlock the folder, double-click PasswordFolder.bat file to open it. Then type your password and press Enter.
