The T8 Admiral Hipper is the first (and only) real heavy cruiser in the German cruiser line in game. Launched in the late 1930's and early 1940's, they were one of the more modern designs for a heavy cruiser. Coming in well over their design displacement, they packed a lot of punch and survivability into one package. In game, they definitely give you the punch but not as much in the survivability department. The maneuverability is a bit sluggish but overall she's a fun and capable ship when played correctly!
