The object of the game is to be the first player to play all the cards in your stock pile.
The youngest player goes first.
At the beginning of every turn, draw 5 cards from the draw pile into your hand.
You can play as many cards as you want from your own hand, stock or discard pile.
During play, up to 4 building piles will be created and used by all players.
Cards in this pile must start with a 1, then ascend sequentially to 12.
A skip-bo card is a wild and can be used as any card you need.
When a building pile reaches 12, set it aside and reshuffle into the draw deck when it is empty.
During play, each player has 4 discard piles for personal use.
At the end of your turn, when you can’t or choose not to play, discard 1 card from your hand to any of these 4 piles independent of number, color or pile size.
If you empty your hand, draw back 5 cards and continue playing, except if you discarded your last card into your discard pile. That will end your turn.
The first player to play all cards in their stock pile wins.
Or you can play several rounds to keep score.
You get 25 points for winning a round and extra 5 points for each card in every opponent’s stock pile.
The first player to reach 500 points wins.
You can also play with partners.
Partners can play cards from both player’s stock and discard piles, but can’t discuss moves and must remain quiet.
The game is over when both partners’ stock piles are empty.
