Form of the Song

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is the graceful slow melody by the
Beatles from the band's 1968 double-disc record, The White Album. The song was written by guitarist, George Harrison, who claims the inspiration from the song came from the Eastern religious view that all things were meant to be, as opposed to coincidental.
The song was later remastered and released on Harrison's
Let It Roll album, released in 2009. The song was creatively reinterpreted in the 2007 musical, Across the Universe.

The rhythm guitar parts of the song use a decent number of chords across two sections (verse, chorus) throughout the track. These are some of the easier chords to play, and when spread across two sections, the song is not too difficult. Study the chords and their progression, as well as the strumming pattern from the video.

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" uses the following song form:

* Intro
* Verse 1
* Chorus
* Verse 2
* Chorus
* Solo
* Chorus
* Outro
