Well, printing from a new Windows 8 style app is much different that the Windows 7 version. In fact, Windows 8 Desktop apps still print exactly the same as Windows 7, usually using the File/Print menu within the app.

Not only did Windows 8 break the mold on printing, they ground it to dust. So take a look on how to print from a Windows 8 app and how some don't even allow you to print (for us old people who want to print a paper copy of our schedule).
