Quitting apps on iOS 9 looks slightly different compared to quitting iOS apps in prior versions of the system software, but the basics are easy to remember:

- Double tap on the Home button to bring up the multitasking screen

- Swipe up on an app preview to quit that application

That's all there is to it. You can repeat until there are no open app previews if you want to quit all apps on an iOS device.

This is demonstrated with an iPhone Plus, but it works the same on any other iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 9.
