How to Quit Game & Restart on Xbox One! To quit a game and restart on Xbox One, you can follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Verify that the game or app you wish to close is highlighted from the mini-guide on the left side of the screen, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
Select Quit.

If the game or app is causing the console to be unresponsive, you can power cycle your console instead.
To restart a game on Xbox One, you can follow these steps:
