How to Adjust HDR Color Settings on Xbox One (Easy Tutorial)
To adjust the HDR color settings on your Xbox One, you need to follow these steps:
Make sure your console is connected to an HDMI 2.0a / HDCP 2.2-compliant port on your TV. You can check the specs section for your TV’s model at the manufacturer’s website to determine which HDMI ports support HDMI 2.0a1.
Open your TV’s settings menu and look for the picture settings section. Find your TV’s “game mode” and enable it. This mode will reduce picture processing and input lag, which is important for gaming.
Open the Settings app on your Xbox One and navigate to the Display & sound tab. Select the Video output tile and choose the maximum supported resolution for your display. Check if HDR is enabled.
To use the HDR Game Calibration app, press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Profile & system - Settings - General - TV & display options - Calibrate HDR for games. Make sure to adjust HDR picture settings while your TV is in HDR mode.
